Tuesday 7th May 2024
Today Lucy celebrated a fantastic 97 years and we all had fun doing exercises with Ben from SWFC and using Pom Poms. Lynn came to pamper everyone as it was Bank Holiday yesterday and residents were up singing and dancing with Denise Johnson who came to sing.
Our Beautician Julie came to manicure the ladies nails and did some beautiful designs. Residents enjoyed playing Play Your Cards Right and this afternoon we were blessed to have a visit from Elmore Nursery who brought a new group of children who were very well behaved and cute, just what the doctor ordered.
Residents had a nice morning playing dominoes in a small group and this afternoon a few residents had a wonderful time at the Devonshire Arms friendship lunch where they enjoyed a 2 course meal and singer. We were also happy to win a couple of boxes of chocolates on the raffle.
What a beautiful warm and sunny day it was today so we took advantage and enjoyed playing cards and having a good old gossip outside in the garden. This afternoon we had a tribute band Everly Brothers who were fantastic.
