Lounges, dining and communal areas

Residents can relax in our plush, restful and stylishly arranged sitting room. A cosy fireplace together with the display of lovely pictures, ornaments and flower arrangements add to the inviting and homely feel. A scenic view of the charming landscaped garden and the open fields beyond can be seen through the patio doors and windows. A large flat-screen television, DVD player, high quality sound system and library of books provide recreation and entertainment.

Our quiet lounge is perfect for those who enjoy tranquil surroundings and is equipped with a television, we have also installed a computer so that our resident’s and relatives can enjoy using Skype etc at any time.

Our well appointed dining room is smartly arranged in restaurant style, so our residents can choose to dine with family or friends, or alone if they prefer. Relatives are welcome to join us at mealtimes

All the communal areas of Nightingale are bright and spacious, spotlessly clean and attractively decorated. A maintenance person is employed to keep the home in perfect order. The home is suitably designed for easy wheelchair use. All doors are extra wide, a lift provides access to the bedrooms on the first floor and our off-street parking and garden have level-access to the home. The two assisted bathrooms, all the en- suite bathrooms and some of the corridors are fitted with handrails.
