Well, what a scorcher of a week we had. It was unbearable at times but our residents enjoyed the warmth and they kept hydrated with plenty of fluids and ice lollies.
The warm weather made everyone tired and sleepy but residents still enjoyed a few activities including bowling, play your cards right, bingo, and memory games.
We didn’t attend bowling club due to the heat but we welcomed 2 new singers who everyone appeared to enjoy. Our beautician Julie came to pamper the ladies and did manicures and some nail art.
Baking was on the agenda this week but as it was hot, we decided to make cake ice cream cones which went down a treat whilst watching Calamity Jane on the interactive table.
