This week has been quieter than normal as a few residents were a little under the weather and had the winter blues. Jane had her work cut out but managed to encourage and entertain everyone with various activities.
Jane started the week with Play Your Cards Right and some chair exercises using instruments to stretch the muscles and they enjoyed a sing along together. Other games included basketball, noughts and crosses, dominoes and games on the interactive table.
For art and crafts residents had fun using kinetic sand which is mouldable sand and residents loved making shapes and feeling at the texture. As it was Remembrance Day this week, we did some pictures to make a wall display and remembered the fallen with a cuppa.
Lynn and Julie worked their magic again this week pampering residents doing their hair and nails.
Our singer was Kevin Kitchen this week and he everyone loved his singing and humour and were singing and dancing along having a great time with the alcohol flowing nicely from the bar.
