Well, what a Christmas we have had at Nightingales!
Unfortunately, we had to lockdown for a couple of weeks due to a small outbreak of Coronavirus. This meant our Residents Christmas Party, Singers and Pantomime had to be cancelled.
We still managed to squeeze a Friendship Lunch at Meadowfarm beforehand and four residents enjoyed a lovely meal, singer, bingo and raffle even coming away with some prizes.
Residents enjoyed playing games such as bingo, cards, dominoes, target, doing jigsaws, reading and using the interactive table.
They did some beautiful elf decorations as a gift for their loved ones and enjoyed getting messy with the glitter. Colouring, dough modelling, wordsearches and crosswords also went down a treat.
The majority of residents were fit and well come Christmas day and they had a lovely afternoon of eating, drinking and being merry.
