This week a couple of residents went to the local bowling club at church and had fun playing dominoes and Boccia. Our residents were made welcome as always and enjoyed a celebration at the end and came home with a trophy each. Another resident enjoyed a walk to the local shop in the sunshine and Thursday afternoon we planned a walk to the park and was all ready to set of until the heavens opened…good old British weather!
Our singers this week were Keeley May who came dressed Jubilee themed and Alan Turner who both had our residents singing and dancing along having a great time.
In house activities this week included quoits, dominoes, jigsaws, kinetic sand, making sand bottles, games on the interactive table, reading magazines, doing wordsearches, dot to dots, reminiscing and doing chair exercises with a beach ball.
