Activities including a trip out for Lunch and Manicures 25th April – 1st May 22

Another week of fun, games and entertainment at Nightingales. Residents enjoyed playing dominoes, basketball, doing jigsaws, armchair exercises, quizzes and painting salt dough.
Our hairdressers Lynn and Beautician Julie came to pamper everyone and residents relaxed with sensory items, interactive pets, magazines and newspapers.
Entertainment this week was our old favourite Paul Barrie and we welcomed a new singer, Annie. Both went down a treat with residents and staff singing and dancing along having a wonderful time.
Finally, we got to have our first outing since Lockdown 2 whole years ago! Four of our residents enjoyed a walk to Morrisons for a browse around the shop and a visit to the café for a cheeky bun and a cuppa. Afterwards they wrapped up and braved the cold for a walk around the local park and a nosey at the fun fair that was getting ready to open. Everyone was smiling and enjoying the fresh air and change of scenery and we can’t wait for our next outing very soon.
