Monday 8th January 24
Today residents had a lovely day being pampered by Lynn at the hairdressers. They played Land a Letter Quiz this morning and a couple of residents went out to the local church to play bowling and dominoes and brought back some trophies.
Tuesday 9th January 24
Residents enjoyed playing Noughts and Crosses this morning with Jane but they had to watch for her cheating! Unfortunately, the singer this afternoon cancelled due to illness but that didn’t stop us having a good time. We got the Karaoke machine out and after a rusty start had lots of fun singing to some songs picked by our residents.
Wednesday 10th January 24
Julie came to pamper the ladies this morning with a manicure and some residents got their limbs moving with a game of basketball. This afternoon was a nice chilled one with a few games of dominoes and lots of chatting.
Thursday 11th January 24
Reverend Sam came to give Holy Communion this morning and we enjoyed singing hymns and saying prayer. Residents had a tiring afternoon doing some chair exercises using resistance bands and a very large parachute.
Friday 12th January 24
This morning residents enjoyed playing Musical Bingo followed by a fabulous afternoon of singing and dancing with Gary Grace who came to entertain us.
