Monday 30th October 23
Today residents had a lovely morning playing noughts and crosses with Jane and she wasn’t on the ball at all this morning and kept losing! Lynn the hairdressers came to pamper everyone again today and this afternoon a couple of residents went to the local bowling club at church and had fun playing games and having a gossip with people from the local community.
Tuesday 31st October 23
All was Halloween themed at Nightingales today. Residents had a nice morning playing pin the teeth on the vampire followed by monster target. Family and staff all joined in too and we dressed up in wigs, boppers and tattoos. Keeley May came to sing this afternoon and we all had a great time singing and dancing along. Keeley also presented the prizes and certificates to our pumpkin carving competition winners, Eileen, Ernest and Richard.
Wednesday 1st November 23
Residents had a fun morning playing Pop up Pirate and found it hilarious when making each other jump. Julie came to manicure some of the ladies nails too and in the afternoon a few residents enjoyed playing Dominoes and having a gossip.
Thursday 2nd November 23
Rev Sam came to give Holy Communion this morning and we celebrated Dorothys Birthday with a lovely cake. This afternoon we played with a beach ball trying to get everyone’s limbs moving and stretching and afterwards a few residents sat colouring in some Remembrance Day Pictures.
Friday 3rd November 23
This morning we played Card Bingo and enjoyed having a sing along together. Janet the Ukulele Lady came to sing this afternoon and residents were shaking some instruments having a nice time.
