Monday 22nd January 24
Residents had a lovely day being pampered by Hairdresser Lynn. They played Target games in the morning and a couple of residents enjoyed a trip out to Chapeltown Church and enjoyed playing games and chatting with people from the local community.
Tuesday 23rd January 24
Russ Elliot came to entertain us with his fabulous voice and residents were singing and dancing along having a great time. It was a little windy today so we were unable to visit our arcade as planned but we were able to bring some games in doors. A couple of residents also enjoyed watching the sand table work its magic and found it very relaxing.
Wednesday 24th January 24
This morning residents had fun playing Pop Up Pirate but found it hard not to jump even when expecting him to pop. Residents had a nice afternoon colouring some Chinese New Year pictures and they were surprisingly neat to say they were enjoying a little tipple at the same time.
Thursday 25th January 24
Reverend Sam came to give Holy Communion and we had a lovely large group joining in to sing hymns and say prayer. They all had a fabulous afternoon doing some exercises using a large beachball and kept Jane on her toes throwing it around the room for her to catch.
Friday 26th January 24
This morning Keeley May got everyone involved singing on the microphone and dancing along to some brilliant songs. A few residents had a nice afternoon relaxing and listening to a Musical Memories DVD and were reminiscing and having a good old natter.
