Monday 21st October 24
Residents had a nice day playing darts and being pampered by Hairdresser Lynn. They enjoyed colouring some Halloween pictures and Edlar and Brenda had a lovely day out at the local church where they enjoyed playing games and eating cake.
Tuesday 22nd October 24
Today Sue turned 70 and had a nice day celebrating with staff and enjoyed a cheeky trip to the new Greggs for coffee and cake. Residents enjoyed doing silhouette painting and loved singing and dancing with Paul Barrie who came to sing.
Wednesday 23rd October 24
Julie came to pamper the ladies this morning manicuring their nails and residents enjoyed playing Play Your Cards Right and doing a Halloween Quiz. This afternoon we had a fabulous time with the children from Elmore Nursery who joined us singing and dancing along to Double Flex who kindly came to sing all in the aid of Weston Park Cancer Charity.
Thursday 24th October 24
We had a lovely visit from our new Reverend Tim who came to give Holy Communion which went down a treat and residents enjoyed fiddling with some sensory muffs today.
Friday 25th October 24
Alan Turner came to sing for us this morning and residents enjoyed looking through old photographs of their time here at Nightingales. This afternoon some of our residents got messy carving pumpkins and they look fabulous on our doorstep.
