Monday 16th September 24
Residents started the week off with some Target Games and had fun playing Hover ball shooting game.
Ben came from SWFC to do chair exercises using bean bags and residents loved it. Paul Barrie came to sing for us this afternoon and we all celebrated Kath’s 80th Birthday today.
Residents had a nice relaxing day reading and listening to music. A couple enjoyed playing snakes and ladders and had a walk to the Aldi for a spot of shopping. Sylvia was feeling healthy and fancied a Pomegranate like she used to have as a nipper but no shop would be complete without posh coffee and a big fat bun which they enjoyed on their return home.
Today residents enjoyed playing with a beach ball bashing it to each other around the home and playing darts. They also played What’s in the Box which was funny…shame we didn’t catch some of the facial expressions when trying to guess what was inside!
We had a change of schedule this week and the lovely Kevin Kitchen came to entertain us all which went down a treat with all the visitors.
