Monday 14th October 24
Residents had a nice day reading newspapers and magazines followed by some games of bowling and play your cards right.
Tuesday 15th October 24
Today Annie came to sing and had everyone singing and dancing along having a great time. We held our Residents Meeting and enjoyed looking through books and magazines.
Wednesday 16th October 24
This morning residents enjoyed doing a Halloween crossword and word searches. We had a very kind donation of MP3 players with various music from easy listening to party songs which went down a treat. This afternoon we had our first visit from students at Chapeltown Academy who came to socialise, play games and get an idea of what its like living here at Nightingales.
Thursday 17th October 24
Residents had a nice morning playing guess the smell and they had some good senses. This afternoon they made some rice crispy buns and decorated them Halloween theme and also made some marshmallow eyeballs. I think eating them and licking the bowl was the most enjoyable part!
Friday 18th October 24
Today residents enjoyed playing Card Bingo and loved singer Kevin Kitchen who entertained us with his guitar.
