10th July 23
Residents started off the week playing noughts and crosses with Regan who came to do Work Experience. He was giving them a run for their money and they loved his company. In the afternoon they went to the local church and enjoyed playing dominoes, bowling and gossiping with the local community.
11th July 23
Today was very busy with residents playing hover ball, with a remote controlled car and dominoes. Denise Johnson also came to sing and residents were singing and dancing along having a wonderful time.
12th July 23
Residents had a nice morning playing Elefun and pop up pirate followed by bashing a beachball to each other around the room. In the afternoon a group enjoyed playing dominoes and having a good old natter.
13th July 23
This morning residents enjoyed smelling some beautiful lavender grown in our garden whilst waiting for the lovely Reverend Sam who came to give Holy Communion. It was Brenda’s Birthday and in the afternoon we had fun playing balloon splat and singing happy birthday to her.
14th July 23
Today we said our goodbyes to Reegan who has done a week of work experience. What a kind, polite young man and everyone loved his company. Residents enjoyed playing Animal Bingo and Paul Barrie came to entertain us with his cheeky banter and singing.
