Today residents enjoyed being pampered having their hairs done by Lynn, reading and doll therapy. This morning residents sat magic painting which was brilliant making colours just using water. Kevin Kitchen came to entertain us in the afternoon and as always was rocking on his guitar and had everyone singing and dancing along.
3rd May 23
Residents had a nice morning being pampered by Julie having their nails painted. We played dominoes, and in the afternoon had lots of fun playing with bubbles trying to pop them.
4th May 23
Reverend Sam came to give Holy Communion this morning and it was very busy in the lounge with lots of visitors who enjoyed joining in singing hymns and being blessed. This afternoon residents continued to get ready for the Kings Coronation by decorating their own crowns with gems.
5th May 23
What a fantastic day had by everyone today. We threw a tea party for the Kings Coronation with residents and family and friends joining in on the fun. We played Royal Bingo and Denise Johnson came to help us celebrate with her beautiful vocals and lots of residents and staff were singing and dancing along.
6th & 7th May 23
Over the weekend we had the Kings Coronation playing on the television and a few residents were intrigued and watching what was happening. We got into the spirit wearing our crowns and waving flags and played a very funny game called King Splat where you had to throw the ears at the picture aiming to get them as close as possible to Charles head. Residents also relaxed listening to music and enjoyed doing wordsearches.
