Mon 24th April 23
Today residents had a nice day being pampered at the hairdressers by Lynn and playing Play your Cards Right and Noughts and Crosses. In the afternoon a couple of residents went to the local church for Bowling Club where they had fun playing dominoes and bowling along with a little prayer and hymn singing at the end whilst enjoying a cup and receiving some well-deserved trophies.
Tues 25th April 23
This morning residents enjoyed joining in with a group quiz and playing with empathy dolls and therapy cats. We decorated the home ready for our Kings Coronation Celebrations and this afternoon we enjoyed a good old knees up to Gary Grace who came to entertain us with his lovely tones.
Wed 26th April 23
Julie our nail technician came to pamper a few of our residents with some lovely Spring nail art this morning and residents had a lovely time playing with bubbles trying to catch and pop them. This afternoon we had a group of children come to visit from Elmore Kindergarten. They were so well behaved and we all joined in to sing nursery rhymes and played with musical instruments.
Thurs 27th April 23
Residents had a nice morning playing a memory cup game and we were surprised at how good they played and remembered where the dice was after being shuffled around. This afternoon we got the huge parachute out and got those arms moving up and down trying to bounce the balls on it without it falling off. Only problem was the draught it was causing lol.
Fri 28th April 23
This morning residents enjoyed playing bingo with Gladys who kindly called out the numbers. Denise Johnson joined us in the afternoon and came to sing. She had residents up dancing along and singing on the microphone having a wonderful time.
