This week residents enjoyed playing games such as noughts and crosses, dominoes, pop up pirate, doing jigsaws, listening to music, reading magazines, books, newspapers and doing exercises using a beachball. Sensory items were also enjoyed along with empathy dolls and our interactive pets.
Tuesday was Pancake day and some of our residents had a lot of fun trying to flip them without dropping them. A couple of residents also couldn’t wait till dinner to sample them!
Julie and Lynn our hairdresser and beautician pampered residents, making them look beautiful as always. A couple of residents had fun at the local bowling club winning trophies including ‘Most chair legs hit’. We also enjoyed Holy Communion by Reverend Sam this week and entertainers Denise Johnson and Russ Elliot who had everyone singing and dancing along.
