This week bowling club at Chapeltown Church was back up and running and a couple of residents had a lovely time playing bowling, dominoes and chatting with people from the local community. Ena spotted an old piano and fancied a play; she soon got her rhythm back and remembered a couple of tunes and everyone was singing along it was brilliant.
Activities this week included target games, musical bingo, interactive table, dominoes, basketball and land a letter quiz.
Art and Crafts were enjoyed and we concentrated on coloring and painting some Chinese New Year pictures for this year’s Year of the Rabbit.
We had lots of family and friends come to visit through out the week and singer Kevin Kitchen came to entertain everyone with his guitar and residents had some music therapy for the first time with Becky.
