This week residents had a nice time playing land a letter game, basketball, dominoes, doing some reminiscing and reading. One afternoon residents were playing horse racing on the interactive table cheering their horse on and they loved it.
Two residents went to the local bowling club and enjoyed playing games, chatting over tea and biscuits and joining in with prayer.
We had our usual visits from hairdresser Lynn and beautician Julie who kindly pampered some residents. Residents liked having their nails painted Halloween theme.
We enjoyed our fortnightly visit from Reverend Sam who gave Holy Communion, singing hymns and blessing those who chose to be blessed. Singers this week were Keeley May and Denise Johnson who helped brighten the mood on a couple of miserable and wet days.
