We have had a jam-packed week of games such as darts, golf, target practice and bowling to prepare for next weeks Sports Day. Residents made some posters for Sports Day too and enjoyed colouring them in.
Games and Art therapy are good for anxiety, help reduce stress and increase self-esteem. They are also good for social contact and have sensory and cognitive benefits.
We finished the week off with a visit from singer Paul Barry who never fails to entertain everyone with his singing, wit and always manages to get some of our residents up dancing.
