Tuesday 6th May 25
Residents enjoyed a bit of home from home this morning dusting and pairing socks. They played games on the interactive table, did some VE Day colouring in and loved sharing the microphone and singing with Annie this afternoon.
Julie came to pamper the ladies and manicure their nails. Residents played Play Your Cards Right, enjoyed some sensory time in the pod and loved a visit from our little puppy friend Arthur.
Today we celebrated 80 years since the end of WW2 in Europe with a little tea party, lots of food, alcohol, dressing up, singing, colouring and a quiz.
Residents enjoyed looking through old photos albums and singing and dancing along to Alan Turner who came to sing. Sylvia also celebrated her 75th Birthday with a beautiful cake from her husband Pete which we all enjoyed.
We took full advantage of the glorious weather today and relaxed outside in the garden enjoying the sunshine and a sing along.
