Monday 9th September 24
Residents had a nice morning fiddling with sensory items and playing Jenga which was fun trying to keep a steady hand. A couple of residents also enjoyed going to this week’s bowling club at Chapeltown Church.
Today residents had a busy day looking through old books of Sheffield, playing dominoes, doing chair exercises using a beach ball and this afternoon had a great time singing and dancing to Annie who came to sing and we enjoyed a little tipple too.
Julie came to pamper the ladies and did some beautiful nails again this week. They enjoyed playing noughts and crosses, popping bubbles and this afternoon had fun playing target games with the children from Elmore Nursery and Alan left them giggling when he kept taking his teeth out. 😊
We had a nice relaxing day doing jigsaws and some Autumn colouring. Julie and Sylvia were feeling spritely today and enjoyed a spot of cleaning and showing staff how to do some wonderful ballet moves.
Today was a good day considering it was Friday the 13th! We had a lovely visit from Woolley Wood School who came and enjoyed lunch in the garden, playing games with our residents and colouring in some pictures before the lovely Leo and Harry therapy ponies came to see us from Smile.
