Tuesday 9th April 24
This morning a couple of residents enjoyed a visit to the Tea dance at the Crucible in Sheffield and Paul Barrie came to entertain us all in the afternoon.
Wednesday 10th April 24
Residents had a nice morning doing a general knowledge quiz and playing Play Your Cards Right. Our Beautician Julie came to pamper the ladies with a manicure and they all had fun bashing a large beach ball to each other in the afternoon.
Thursday 11th April 24
Reverend Sam came to give Holy Communion this morning and in the afternoon a few helped to make some chocolate truffles. They didn’t look very appetizing but the tasted amazing.
Residents had a nice relaxing morning playing card games and bingo. Gary Grace came to sing in the afternoon which everyone enjoyed.
This weekend we braved the cold and a few residents enjoyed a walk to Ecclesfield Park where they watched children on the park and playing football. It was quite busy and the trees and flowers were in bloom. A couple of residents also enjoyed a walk up to Meadow farm pub for some lunch and a cheeky pint on Sunday.
