Monday 5th February 2024
John turned 90 today and enjoyed celebrating with staff and residents. This morning residents enjoyed playing What’s in the Box guessing game and being pampered at the hairdressers. This afternoon a couple of residents enjoyed a trip to the local church where they had a nice time playing games and loved the tea and cake whilst receiving their trophy.
Tuesday 6th February 2024
Residents had a nice morning playing games on the interactive table and looking through some reminiscence books. Paul Barrie came to torment us all and residents were singing and dancing along having a good time…until Andrew got on the microphone! 😉
Wednesday 7th February 2024
Julie came to pamper the ladies and give them a fresh manicure. This morning residents enjoyed playing snakes and ladders. In the afternoon they enjoyed fiddling with some sensory items and a few residents popped in the sensory pod for some relaxation.
Thursday 8th February 2024
Reverend Sam came to give Holy Communion and we had lots of participation this morning. In the afternoon residents enjoyed colouring some pictures and chatting about Chinese New Year.
Friday 9th February 2024
Residents had a nice morning playing Pontoon followed by a game of musical bingo. This afternoon Gary Grace came to entertain us and residents were singing and dancing along to some wonderful songs.
